G3 185 w/200HP Yamaha

Looking at getting back on the big water at Lake Erie and have run accross a decent deal on a G3 185 F/S with a 200HP Yamaha 2-Stroke. Motor has less than 100Hrs but I was leaning towards a 4-Stroke. I have read all good about this particular motor and would also think that this boat would ABSOLUTELY FLY with a 200 on it!
Anyone run a G3 on Lake Erie or big water have anything to say about the handling performance and reliability???
