He brought me 2 8' medium action Heartland rods with 2 matching Diawa LC47 Accudepth Plus reels. Looking forward to using them this spring on Erie walleye.

for the first time i can remember, i did not get anything fishing specific for christmas. its ok though, as I'm trying to curb my spending because i have a little one on her way coming in february.

I love Santa as well. A bunch of Scheels trolling rods 2-5ft, 2-8.5ft, 2-10.5ft, 2-14ft and Daiwa Accudepth 27s for them all. Now to buy bulk Power Pro and rod condoms for them all.
Can wait for the Missouri River spring cranking bite (lasts all year), and soft water in Devils. I'll look like a dang combine going through the water!!
