Has anyone heard anything about when the upgrade for older (VERSION3.0) 7520's will be available from Pinpoint??? I'm also wondering when the GPS modules are going to be available?? Last I heard it was April 1. Has anyone been able to get their hands on any of 2002 2700 trolling motors yet? Time is getting short for the St. Croix opener with all of the mounting and wiring to do for this system.

Hi
Just had mine in for an upgrade
4.0 rev F
Didn't cost a thing providing I had my sales receipt.

GPS is on the way.
Just saw the first draft of the owners manual.
Thx

I'm assuming that yours was under warrenty. Mines out of warrenty so it'll cost me $300 to get it done now. Great lakes angler had an article that said we should be able to get it done for less then $125 or so. I wonder when this program is going to start??

I own a 7320 that came in a package with a new boat. Also included in the deal was Pinpoint's GPS. I was told Pinpoint (owned by Mercury Marine) was not happy with the GPS initially and they were refining it. I called MM and was told by their customer service the GPS would be ready early summer, maybe. Doesn't sound too encouraging. I wonder if they'll offer an alternative for the money spent already.

$300 to get the software rev'd? That's rediculous!!! Even if it requires a memory upgrade it can't cost that much! Especially when you consider that Lowrance X-15 owners just download it off the Web.
