I'd go with the Bass Pro Shaops 8 ft Micro lite rod. If you're tossing 1/32 and 1/16th oz tube jigs around, it'll get the job done with 2, 4, or 6 lb test line and it'll also work great for using weighted or unweighted floats if you're fishing the jigs under them.
It's about the best $40.00 rod on the market.

Reels are a tough choice but you can't get hurt with any of the Shimano, Daiwa or better quality Quantum reels.

Having been around competitive crappie fishing since 1989, theres one crappie rod to look at. B&M makes the best crappie poles hands down. They buck classic is an awesome 8 foot graphite for jigging. They also make a 12foot rod called the brush buster that I also use for dead rod , slip bobber and rigging with long snells for walleyes. As far as reels go there are a lot of good ones out there.Good luck in your search
