IM GETTING A FISHAWK AND WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF I CAN TAKE THE SPEED/TEMP OFF MY LMS350 AND JUST USE THE FISHAWKS. I DONT SEE THE NEED FOR TWO SPEED/TEMPS. I DONT THINK I NEED THE SPD/TMP FOR THE GPS MODE. ANY ADVICE WOULD BE HELPFUL THX...

You don't need the speed/temp wheel/probe for the LMS 350 in GPS mode but unless you just don't have room on your transom for the fishhawk wheel and temp guage along with the one from the 350 I would not remove it for a couple reasons.
1) Would be nice to be able to compare the readings from fishhawk and 350.
2) I don't think the mileage log feature on the 350A will work without the speed wheel. I have the 350 without the speed/temp wheel and log function doesn't work. Not really a big deal but I like to keep track of this. I just picked up the speed/temp wheel/probe for this reason. I am also going to buy a fishhawk speed /temp unit this summer.
