Hey Steve, Pat here, Sonny Reynolds gave us the green light, to hold a VIP day at the RCL Lake Winnebago Tourney to raise money for the Luekemia Foundation. Great Idea you had where people donate money to the foundation, for a day of pre-fishing with a pro. Now just to get as many pros on board as possible, and what day will work best. Juls said she would help, heck I'd pay to fish with her or Rick maybe then I'll catch some fish during the tourney! Now to get some SPONSORS to donate some door prizes, (Mercury,Lowrance,Off Shore Tackle,Minnkota Garmin,Riveria, are you folks listening) This is your guys chance to show we can do more than just catch fish! Thanks for your time, & any input or ideas are greatly appreciated. Pat Cavins

ABSOLUTELY AWESOME IDEA. If you get good participation and decide to continue this at other tournaments, I am a Michigander that will participate at Detroit.

Best of luck to you on this event. Every amount helps.

Great Job!!!

Hey Pat and all RCL Pro's,

This fund raising event concept was spurred by the Justin Young leukemia post way back in early March. We feel our sport can be a valuable asset to raisng funds and awareness that will benifit the potential of curing leukemia and many other problems that keep the Justin Youngs of the world fishing longer lives.

The concept is this: One day in practice, at the RCL event at Winnebago, we will schedule a VIP to fish with participating pro's. The VIP will be sponsored by a corporation that will pay $$ for he or she to fish that day. The money will go to the charity fund in whole. Each boat will weigh one fish and plaques will be awarded to the top ten biggest fish. That's the basic plan. Details such as a breakfast to start the day and dinner to award the plaques and the check to the fund are all in the works and will be coordinated in the next few weeks.
It is time, Pro Anglers, we step to the plate. The Justin Youngs of the world want to enjoy a healthy fishing life that we have been so fortunate to have. We need to help them!

I and Pat and RCL staff will keep you updated on the event and how you can become a part of it. Thanks in advance for all your efforts
with this and future events like it.
I will answer any questions and appreciate any input while at the Lake Sharpe event.
