Will be in LaCrosse April 13-14th while wife is at Antique show. Any suggestions for walleyes, where and how?

might consider hiring a guide, i know a good one a little bit further down river- Hutch Hutchinson, He has a ProV and is really good at night fishing and running handline downrig with cranks-i think he fishes round the clock in the summer. i have his number somewhere if Your interested

If you have a boat you don't need a guide.Fish the Dresbach dam. The public access is on the MN side of the river near the I-90 rest area. Fish the "I" walls of the dam or you could hit the wing dams below the dam. Tri State Bait in LaCrescent should be able to hook you up with bait and advice. Good Luck!
