" An anonymous donor has caused some excitement among anglers planning to fish in an upcoming Walleye tournament at Seneca Lake, Ohio. The event, co-sponsored by the website gofishohio.com, the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District, and Cabela's Promotions is to be held on June 29, 2002. The top five teams from this event will earn spots in next Spring's Cabela's National Team Tournament of Champions. The additional donation of $1,000, to be added to the cash prize for the team finishing in 1st Place at the Seneca event, is described by the donor as "a way of promoting and supporting the sport of 'Eye angling on Ohio inland lakes"".

Anonymous Donor "a way of promoting and supporting the sport of 'Eye angling on Ohio inland lakes"". Wonder who the mystery man is? :) Does he think he has a lock on the tourney or just wants to divert attention from home waters.? :) How dumb is a fox? Very nice gesture on his part.

This donor doesn't fish competetively so that isn't a factor. His wish for anonymity stems from not wanting every club, organization, etc., involved with fishing in some way begging on his doorstep,
