trolling and line types

I've seen diving curves for crankbaits trolled at variable drop back distances and how heavier lines reduce depth. I've seen some charts for monofilament. How are these affected by "Fireline" and hybrids. Do these lines have smaller diameter than mono hence less loss of depth at higher test. I'm wondering, how does 20# Yozuri hybrid compare with, say 10# mono. Can I fish a heavier line while retaining lure action and depth behind a baitwalker or with a drop shot? Pete.

I know that 30 lb fireline is the same diameter as 10 lb mono
