Was up to Okoboji and was camping with some friends who had left their camper at a spot from the week-end before..They paid thru thurs. and paid $9 per night for elec. spot. Come thurs. evening we were informed rates were now $12 per night.Sure enough the DNR had put a new sign over the old one. Does this happen in other states also? I guess it's legal as long as they can get away with it. Don't know if this is just an isolated incident or if it's state-wide on holidays. Anybody else experience this?

Lets see, we needed to pay extra for reservations, we spent a bundle on fishing licenses, the fuel was costly, but know something, no one made us do it.What the heck is a couple of bucks more anyway? If I was concerned with a couple of bucks increase with anything, I'd opt to save a whole lot of money, and give up fishing entirely. And with the money I saved I'd buy myslf a brand new rope, find a good sturdy tree, need I say more.
