View Full Version : Rod Holders for Hardtop
I just bought a 27" sports craft with a hard top and am looking for the holders to mount on the top. What is my best bet?
Thanks in advance Ryan

Check the marine catalogs from Bass Pro, West Marine, maybe Cabela's. Look for "rocket launchers" in the rod holders.
Ryan,
Where are you located? There are lots of coustom bilders around who will whip one out for you that is just right for your boat and will use whatever sort of holders best suit your needs and pocketbook and do it very quickly. One that comes immediately to mind is Harbor Welding in Wancheese, NC. There a several in south Florida that are known to turn out outstanding products, and I can get numbers for you for places in the Hampton roads area that do very nice work at reasonable prices. Oh, and for whatever its worth I've seen bunches of them sold on E-Bay over the last year and they go for extremely reasonable prices. Of course with the recent changes in the E-Bay structure on Boating items your chances of finding one now are much reduced.

Ryan I think you are talking about "rocket launchers" use to store poles on the back top of the hard top. I got mine (12 holders) at Fishermans Warf in downtown port clinton. I think I also saw them in Cabelas catalog. The work fine on my 27 foot sportcraft.
