OK. I searched the archives first. What I want to know, is what is your favorite color of Spoon? I know what's popular, but what is your favorite and where? Mine depends on what part of Erie I'm fishing.

Out of Lorain - Purple (Kevorkian, Muffin, etc)

Central Basin - Edgewater - Confussion, Monkey Puke, and Gold Shine.

Western basein Confussion, Monkey Puke , Central and eastern is bluebery muffin , perch , and the many that the paint is half chiped off LOL. I just could not help myself had to say it !!

Like how could you tell. The paint wont stay on bout as long as it takes to tie them on your line. I've never seen such a poor paint job on a fishing lure before. Dan

I have a feeling Dean (Denied)will give you his story on the stingers...He opened up my eyes and yeah really poor paint job...do yourself a favor and find another flutter spoon, or go to Jan's NetCraft and save some money!

Try the spoons from Pa's lures. Just received my order last week and the quality looks outstanding.

In fairness to Michigan Stingers and Scorpions, they have changed the paint or application process and this has supposedly fixed their problem with the dissappearing paint. If you don't wish to be the next group of people to be the "testers" for their spoons, that is understandable, but don't give the impression that they were unresponsive to their customers and weren't trying to fix their problem. The spoons catch fish.

Thank's Supertroller. I couldn't have said it better myself. The spoons catch fish. I guess I should have just said spoons, as I'm interested in colors and not what type spoon. I try to help the people that shop at Dick/s where I work. As I stated, I know what is popular as far as the manufactures want us to believe. I want to know what is being used by all the fisherpeople. Bumblebee is supposed to be a favorite. I had over 150 in the store when they were on sale at 2 for $5. At the end of a week, I still had 150+.

Thanks SuperTroller for responding to this post. I was gonna but it just keeps it going and some people have there minds set and nothing I would say would change it so I just let it go. If everybody used them we might deplete all the Eyes.:)

BumbleBee has been hot off and on . I did real well with it on the Steelies. Theres just so many colors that a good color sometimes just don't get used. All it'll take is a few guys using it and it'll be hot again.

To each their own I guess. I fish them quite often, and have confidence in their ability to catch fish. The new colors are fantastic!
