Super job Bill & Rod!!! Congratulations on taking first Saturday and second Sunday... great way to start the year! You guys are a couple of awesome fishermen. You are also super for the fishing industry with your professionalism and with the way you help educate the public in so many ways. Hope your streak continues the rest of the season!

Hi Tim!
Thanks.... I am glad you could fish this weekend... it was fun! You'll have to pick up a couple handlining reels for your new boat coming!
Talk with you later

Hi Vickie....
There were 51 boats on Saturday and 44 on Sunday. It consisted of two separate one day tournaments. If you head to fishtheriver.com and go to the tournament section, the top eight teams of each day are listed there. I didn't see it on the world walleye association web page yet.

There were around 50 boats both Sat & Sun. I expect Steve Poll will be updating the WWA Site soon with the stats.
Jenn, Thanks for the encouraging words. Red Wing is my favorite place to fish...Great People, Great Scenery, and always tough competition - especially with the RCL Championship coming this October.
For those not familiar with Red Wing, MN: Pool #4 hosts many trophy Walleye & Sauger, we were fortunate enough to land a trophy 5.83lb Sauger in the tourny - not quite big enough to take the State Record -but She's back swimming now, and hopefully in a couple years will break the current record. Quite a few 12lb Walleye are also caught in this fishery each year. Just remember to release those beauties so some one else can enjoy the same experience, and take good pictures!
Jenn, See you at Mille Lacs for the MWC in May.
Thanks Again,
Rodney

Thanks for the information -- We'll be there the end of the month fishing the Minnesota Tournament Trail (MTT). I was wondering who all fished it and how they did.
I'll check the other web site.
Thanks again. Vickie
Good luck at your tournament there Vickie!

Sorry but I can't find the results there. Can you give me more information about how to find it? I've never been to that site before.
Thanks. Vickie
