Fishing Buddy fishfinder 1100 and 2255 comparison

I'm going to buy Fishing Buddy 1100 or 2255 fishfinder.

The prices are $189 and $279.

I could not find a real difference in the specifications besides better screen resolution for 2255. Are there any other advantages to make it worth to pay extra $100 for the 2255 model?

I have the 2255 and am not that happy with it. I would go with the 1100 or the Fishingbuddy II. I had bought the III and lots of false readings whereas my old II I did not. I upgraded to the 2250 2 years ago and did not run very well so upgraded to the 2255, Not impressed with the unit as this also seemed to mark lots of false fish as I observed using a AquaVU. Go with the 1100 or the Fishingbuddy II if you can find one.
