At the risk of starting a war, a question came up among myself and some other folks yesterday in talking about the tournament this past weekend that I couldn't answer.
I noticed that the tournament allowed a 5 fish limit to be weighed. Isn't that area limited to 4 fish until May 1 (or is that only Ohio waters)? Otherwise, was a provision for 5 fish in place for the tournament since it was live release?

4 fish per person. Two people in the boat can keep 8.

2 people in boat x 4 fish per person = 8 fish limit per boat.
The tournament limit was LESS than the legal limit.

DOH!!!!!!!! Never mind..
Now if we could just whack this thread before it gets ugly:-)
Thanks
I have a questions. The limit is 4 in Canadian waters, what if these guys caught fish in Canadian waters. The 5th fish would make that illegal.

These guys means two fisherman times 4 Walleyes per fisherman for a boat limit of 8.

They were fishing in Michigan water, and we still have a six (6) per person limit on the Detroit River and Lake Erie. Canada and Ohio chose to limit the catches for the brief period noted above.

So they were covered in either case (by limit or the fact of 2 people in the boat)..
Thanks, that's what I was wondering.
