Boy I'm either getting old or stupid. Been fishing a long time but have no idea what "Whistlers" are..Could someone enlighten me???

I think you are referring to the Whistler Jig that Northland puts out. It is a jig with a little propeller on the hook shank. Look at www.northlandtackle.com

I am not sure, but a "whistler" jig is made by northland and has the little prop on it. Other than that I don't know.

Whistler jig? They give off more flash ! they have a little prop behind the lead !
Been making my own since the early sixties. Northland is just an expensive copy. Just mad I didn't market them first.
