Going to Bloomington, Ind. on 4-17-02. Was wondering if there are any good tackle shops around the area to do alittle shoping at during my down time. I am going to the Baxter Co. if that helps to locate a nearby store. Names and phone # would be great. Thanks to all who answer. JJ

Can't think of anything special in Bloomington but if you want to take about a 45 minute drive north you can go to the original Galyans store in Plainfield. It has a good selection of tackle/sporting goods. It is located on US 40 about 10 minutes west from the Indy airport. From Bloomington, come up St. Rd. 37 to Martinsville, take St. Rd. 39 over to St.Rd. 67 and come up to Mooresville. Take St.Rd. 267 from Mooresville up to US 40. Galyans is about 1/2 mile east of the US 40/SR 267 intersection. There is another Galyans in Greenwood, also north of Bloomington about 45 minutes. Its located on US 31 in a shopping center south of Wal-mart and north of the Greenwood Mall.
Galyans pretty well has the sporting goods market locked up in central Indiana. There is no BPS, Gander, Dicks, etc.

JJ..assume you are flying? If not try to locate a Dicks store on the drive out along the Erie area and get some of those Renoskys @ 2 for $5.

Yep,
Flying! But thought I would look for some deals out there, never have to many lures. Still waiting for my fireglows. JJ
