Last year I bought one of the XPS Extreme Trigger rods. I got the 7 ft MH action model. I use it for casting big baits for Pike and as my bouncer rod. This spring I bought two more, a 6'6 ft Trigger and a 7 ft spinning rod. At 100 bucks a peice these rods are affordable and very well made, no complaints. Yesterday I got three of the Weight balancing kits and put them on each rod. Man what a difference!!!! Now each setup is perfectly balanced and I can cast a mile! I am sure it will also combat fatigue when holding a bouncer rod all day? When I first saw these kits I thought it was just a useless novelty, wrong! Anyway if you have Bass pro Rods, do yourself a favor and get the weight balancing kits!

Neal -- I am considering this rod as well, but cannot find much information on WC about these.
You say that you bought two this year; why wouldn't you buy three? In the BP catalog, they list three for the price of two.

I bought them all at different times like an idiot! So I ended up buying all three. I did buy them all as part of a combo though, so that saved my about 40 bucks with each rod & reel setup.

I've got them on two P & K bottom bouncer rods, and they do really help to balance the outfit.

My wife has Carpal Tunnel Syndrom in her right hand. I own several various Extremes with balancing kits. I bought her an Extreme ultra light rod and the balancing kit to replace her other light rod and now she is able to cast with little or no pain.

I have 4 xps bait casters and they are great. We have compared them side by side with St Criox (my buddy has all St. criox) His next set up will be XPS. I have St.Criox spinning outfits and will try the XPS as my next rod.
