How do you guys keep your rod compartments neat???
There must be a simple way of keeping the lines
from tangling all up? I always put the rods in
there nice and neat but by the next time I go to
take them out they're caught on each other. Yesterday while attempting to untangle two rods,
and hold up the rod cover, the cover slipped out of my hand and snap went the tip of one rod. It wasn't the best way to start off the day.... There must be an easier way???????? Thanks.

ness I solved the same problem by getting slip on rod covers from Cabela`s. I got the 7 foot long models and can now store 14 rods without tangles. they list them for 4.95 per cover, but if you order 10 or more it is 3.95 per cover.

Hi Ness,
Here's another source...haven't tried them myself just have seen them on others and am going to get some either from here or the other source already mentioned here.
The Fishermen's Company

They call it the Fishermen's Rod Cover and prices vary depending on size and quantity. Make them for baitcasters or spinning rods in 6 ft, 8 ft, or custom lengths. Heard about them from Mike Norris at the Takasaki Walleye Masters Institute last Feb.
Good luck...hate those tangles too....lol...lure wraps work good too Ness when you're working in the boat switching rods back and forth and don't want to put the cover on them.
