How do you guys thread your kicker motor battery cables into the battery compartment ?

I am thinking about a 2" cable boot and drilling through the splashwell and into the battery compartment,
whats your opinions ?

can't you just run them thru the existing grommet that the main motor battery cables go thru?

I probably could, but they would have to be run under the splashwell and then back up again to go into the battery compartment. I am looking for a simpler way to run them so it is not such a pain to take the kicker off and on. I take my kicker off for the winter, because I do not use it then.

why cause yourself more work?

Just leave the kicker on.

I never removed mine once it was installed.

so why do you have to take it off?

When I jig the river, or perch fish, I dont use it either. it just sits there
