I have some Gary Roach signature series rods made by Berkley. I think they are $60. I really like them. I have a pretty thin budget for rods also, but my wife let me get a G-Loomis GL3 722 jigging rod for $115. It is light, super sensative and stronger than nails. I have a hard time using my other jigging rods now.
Good Shopping fishy!

Hey fishy I Have a Berley Lightning stick its really nice. I would go with the Gary Roach series though just becuae its a little bit more high qaulity. MY FAVORITE rod is my Fenwick EagleGT really nice and sensitive I paided $55 bucks for it @fleet farm or you can order them over the internet at w w w .fenwickfishing. c o m I think thats the website or go to a search engine like yahoo or altavista and type in fenwick fishing, fishing rods, etc.

If you have a Gander Mountain store by your place check out there Guide series rods. They are made of St.Croix blanks.I picked up a couple this spring and used them on Erie for jigging the reefs and really liked them .They are a very sensative and you can feel everything with them. There were times when I picked up Zerba mussels with them and knew right away.I also own 3 Roach rods and like them alot also. For the money I don`t think you can go wrong with either of them.
Good Fishing
