I just finished installing my guest 2613 charger. I read the directions fully and after scouring my boat I concluded that I would not be able to find the perfect installation spot that gave me 6 inches below and 4 inches above with the cooling fins facing vertical. I ended up choosing a spot under the side console (I have 3 inches below and 4 inches above, but it is not enclosed)
If I understood the directions correctly, the biggest risk I face is that the charger may not cool completly and reduce its charge rate due to heat build up? Or are there other risks?
Thanks for the help
Jim

Jim,

If the area is exposed, you will not have a problem with the charger cooling itself during operation. I do commonly suggest putting the chargers in less than ideal loactions if you can provide extra air flow for the charger.

Have a great day!
