lund tyee

helol i am looking at buying my first boat. its a 1983 lund tyee 18ft with a 1988 115 mariner and a 8 horse mariner kicker of the same age. it has a solid floor and has been repainted . any other things i should look out for? are these motors good or not. the auto blend oil system has been removed and is pre mixed now .thanks

Being the auto blend system has been by passed I for sure would water test the motor. I can't remember if that year had 2-4 cylinder system. that system ran on 2 cylinders at idle and all 4 would kick in some where about 1500 rpm's. If it has that system 2-4 by passing the auto blend system could be an issue.
