ok. so i figured out the autopilot for my kicker motor... apparently the "ON" button on the remote actually only turns the remote on...not the system. LOL....
anyways, glad it's working I can't wait to try it out! WOOT!

dont forget you have to program the computer , starting with finding north and programing that in first . it can be a little nerve wracking. but follow the instructions and you will be ok mabee not the first time but it will come

wait wait..program the computer for north what? the thing is already set up...i'm not sure if it's connected to the GPS or not..i'ts a Lowrance Globalmaps 2000 on the boat... but not sure they are linked. either way i really am not worried if they are not...

i just want to be able to control the boat when trolling and have the kicker stay held in place by the nautimatic....

unless there is something else or some other really good reason i need to worry? please explain more ok? thanks

i know NOTHING about this thing

Hey Jinx Dont Worry About Compass Calibration. That Has To Be Done One Time And The Guy Before You Had It Done Allready To Operate The Pilot.

My last one would have to be re-calibrated each Spring. Pretty easy to do, there's a quick reference guide to walk you through it. I actually called them from the lake on a Sunday and have them walk me through a problem once, very good customer service. That was before Garmin bought them, not sure how it is now. I've got a new one ordered for the new rig, if you troll a lot you will love it.

There's a black ball, probably mounted under the deck in front of one of your consoles, that serves as the compass. You'll need to make sure that it stays solidly mounted with the wire coming out of the bottom of the ball.
