What type of aerator and bucket do you guy's
use to keep your minnows alive when fishing or
in transport from home to lake and back?
I want to find a good 12 volt aerator system to keep minnows lively all day on the boat and after returning home.
Thanks for the help,

Tad,
I use a bucket made by cool bubbles that comes with a aerator that works very well. The bucket is instuleted with foam. I use in the spring on Erie when we are jigging with minnows.I also use it when we perch fish.I have kept minnows for six days and only lost a few. These are lake Erie shiners and are hard to keep alive. When we fish in Michigan with fatheads we have kept them alive for well over a week with none dying. It cost me around 30 bucks and has never let me down.It runs off 2 D cell batteries for around 100 hours.A 12 volt unit that is good is the Minnow-Mizer.It floats on top of the water in the bucket. My friend uses a motorcycle battery mounted on the side of the bucket. With that set up he can let the pump run for a week with no problems.Hope this helps.
Good Fishing
