I'm new to useing jet divers so my question is does the color of them matter very much or is one color better then another fishing the central and western parts of lake Erie. Thanks for any help on this.
We use jets at times to take stickbaits or harnesses to depth, although many prefer the snap weights due to more vertical bait movement on speed changes/turns. For Walleye, I prefer the clear jet divers and dipsys. The thinking here, (mine) is that the diving device should not deter or scare the fish away from the actual bait. We also use pure florocarbon leaders, 6-8' behind the jet with a swivel on the jet end, round end cross-lok snap or loop knot to the bait.

ps, the clear jets are more difficult to find, clear dipsys seem to be commonly available.
