Has anyone taken a look at the Rapala rods yet - particularly the IM6 Sportsman class or HM45 Tournament class ? Was wondering what anyone thought of them.
For the money, they represent a good value.
Decent blanks, fine handles, reasonable guides, and ok balance.
Not bad for the price.

I also looked at them and for the money they seem pretty decent. I'm going to try one out for a couple of weeks and see what they are like on the water.Pretty tough to make a good decision about them in the store.

i picked up 2 to try out...a 6'6" MH for jigging 3/8-5/8oz jigs
and a 6'11" heavy for 3oz 3 ways and second duty cat rod...
they seem reasonably priced for the quality of the rod....
will see when open water gets here....
