Just noticed that ebay has some of the old style deep jr. thundersticks selling for as much as $30 bucks a piece after shipping. They seem to be averaging $10 to $15 regardless of the color. Given the number of these things for sale, I find it hard to believe these are just collectors. Are they really worth that much?

Has anyone come up with a viable alternative to the action of these baits? At $30 bucks a pop, a guy could have a 3 digit loss on the water pretty easy!!!

$30.00!!! not me. I have went as high as $20 for one crank, but thats where the buck stops. Now, if that lure can cook me dinner, that may be a different story all togehter!

I have 25 deep jr's that I will sell for $10 a copy! e-mail me walleyehunt@msn.com I honestly don't think I'll get any replies! I have a hard time believing someone would pay even $10 for a crankbait, unless it was a muskie lure.

I guess everything is relative. Some people spend $20 a week on cigarettes, I'll probable spend as much on beer with my friends tonight. At least a crankbait can catch a walleye.

A lure, like anything else is only as valuable as you think it is. A lot of people look at this as a last chance to ever buy one. I agree that it a high price to pay for a fishing lure but I have an old lure in my collection that I paid $140 for. To me that lure was worth the money. This is the sort of thing that keeps ebay going. Larry
