I am going to buy an early 2000s 17 ft tiller with a 4 stroke 75 or 90 either a Lund or Alumacraft. I was wondering if anyone has feedback on the early year 2000s on how they take the big waves. Does a Lund or Alumacraft cut the waves better? Does one slap the waves more than the other? And how do they ride? I currently have a 17 Starcraft tiller and I will never ever think about buying one again. I fish big water like Mill Lacs, Leech, Winni, Red Lake and this boat slaps and bounces offering the worst ride possible..
