i posted this on electronics but probably should of here. Hey you guys with rangers how do you attach your transducer for your fish finders. Do you drill into the fiberglass? Any tips would help... Pics would be awesome

Shoot thru hull transducers are my choice...no drilling required.

I have a shoot thru for when I'm running and this transom mount skimmer when trolling or jigging. That way it is out of the water when the boat is up on plane and won't get knocked off by something in the water. Mounting the skimmer in this location also prevents interference with the shoot-thru (dash locator) when running.

Thanks I am upgrading my electronics...trying to figure out how to do it. I am going with a Low 8 by the driver.
