It's been blowing ENE for the past few days...no wind out there right now though.

The lake is trashed on the west end, due to mud from the winds and the rain (muddy rivers dumping in the lake).

The weather is supposed to be nice this week:

Today: Patchy fog before 10am. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 45. North wind around 5 mph becoming calm.

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 37. South wind around 6 mph.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 63. South wind between 6 and 9 mph.

Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 49. South wind between 8 and 11 mph.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 72. South wind between 9 and 15 mph.

Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 47.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 73.

Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 50.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 76.

Saturday Night: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 53. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Sunday: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 62. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

The lake should start clearing up nicely by Thursday night or Friday, so expect a decent to good bite this coming weekend.

We were out last week and caught some nice fish, so they are there. Just have to let the water clean up a little. It looks like chocolate milk right now.

This was the last clear satellite pic....from two days ago, but you get the idea....:)

Went out for a couple hours this morning, and as Juls said it is pretty torn up. I'd say six inches of clarity at best today. No fish, decided to use it as a shake down cruise and gave up on the fishing thoughts. Only saw 4 other boats. There was no wind, so hopefully it can begin to clear.

Be advised that if you head to Turtle Creek there is a 50 boat tournament going out of Fenwick. My quess is that about 7:15-7:30 there will be a big parade of boats going down the channel.
Juls tell the ole man good luck, he is going against some tough lake erie competators including me. hahahahahahah

Coming back from Cleveland this afternoon and stopped at the lakehouse. Water was clear and clean off Lakeside and Marblehead in the South Passage 3 trailers at the ramps at Mazuriks.

Hey thanks for the reports ya it looks like the water is mud right now from the satellite photo. It looks a little better over by turtle island so I think I might go there. Last year at this time we did real well. I will post when I get down that way. Its nice having a lab top so you can check that stuff while on the road. It would be nice to hear from you again Steve I’ll be down again the same weekend as you guys this year. Fish on!!!!

Got a report today that there are a lot of males to be had jigging over there right now. The feed bag is on. It will only get better as the week progresses.

It's going to be a very good time! :)
