Garmin GPS 176/176C

I'm looking at buying a Garmin GPSMAP 176/176c for use in my boat, car, bike, hiking, etc.

Has anyone had any good or bad experiences with this unit? What about with Garmin's software?

These unit's are very nice. Personally I like the 176C as the color seems to give better clarity. Maybe it's just easier to look at because of the seperation. The units work great and have alot of info. I have several friends using them and we've talked about them and there are no complaints yet.
