I bought a new EZ Loader a few years ago. The biggest piece of junk on the market. There are 4 major components to a trailer. The hubs, the brakes, the wiring, and the paint. ALL WERE DEFECTIVE. I contacted them, and their answer was to "bring it back to the dealer", and keep doing that until they get it right. I got a leaking hub fixed by a dealer in Mn, I fixed the brakes and wiring myself, and the paint is still chipping, and coming off. My advice, STAY AWAY FROM EZ LOADER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Frank. The trailer they are offering has springs instead of torsion axles. Any thoughts between the two?

jtam,
I've got a torsion axle under my current EZ Loader, and love it. Much quieter, adds strength to the frame as an extra cross member, hitting a pothole on one side doesn't cause the other wheel to jump around.
I'd highly recommend a torsion axle if they can get you one.

I have a Phoenix tandem under my Lund 1900 IFS and it has been great (2 yrs old)
I had an Eagle trailer under my previous Lund and was told by me dealer that Phoenix is owned by some previous people at Eagle. Solid trailer and no problems thus far. Would buy another.
