Hey fella's. Ordered the new boat and have been wondering what kind of speed can I expect with my 1850/150 yammi combo? I forgot to ask the salesman, but figured there are plenty of fellas here with 1880's out there that can give me some real-life feedback. Thanks.

my 97' 1850 with a 175 would hit upper 50's, and tickle with the 60 mark (GPS), my 1880 with a 200, boat is 300+ pounds heavier only hits 56 (GPS). my guess you have a 4 stroke, so it will be much less.

Well, it's sounds like upper 40's is where it'll be at, in which case I'll be content. Thanks for the replies.

I have a 1880 with 150, best ever was 51 light load. 2 guys and a full load fishing 48 is about the norm.

Your speed/performance is very dependent on how you prop it out.........

Good luck,
