As one of the board members I want to thank you
personally for the praise of John Douglas's decision. John has been a
blessing for the Club taking over after Ken Shear, As Ken made
a lot of large steps for the club. John has worked very hard at the
position of Tournament Director and to continue the professionalism
of the Saginaw Bay Walleye Club and the Michigan Walleye Tour.
With the Oil spill and the weather It was a long rough week for John and the great group of Volunteers that made the tournament a go.
All the Fishermen should remember to thank the volunteers because with out them the club would not be able to run the level of tournament that the Michigan Walleye tour has become.

Hey River King, I agree totally with you and the decision that J.D. and the MWT staff made regarding the fog out. See you all at Houghton Lake. Tight Lines, Bo #582

Second that. Considering the events of this week and the resultant crowds at Lake Erie Metro, JD and his staff could not have done a better job. The day 2 cancellation was absolutely the correct call.
