Former BASS Elite Series pro Jon Bondy sitting in 9th. Bondy is a terrific guy.
Has a walleye pro ever been in the Top 10 of a BASS Elite Series event or FLW bass Tour event?

The weights at Detroit in my opinion were 3 to 5 lbs heavier then what was actual. One guy weighed in 20 lbs with 4 fish and not one was a 5 lb fish. Seemed like every bag was hevier then what they looked. Just my cents maybe FLW trying to make the Bags bigger to draw more people. At this point If that's the case I hope u does work I would hate to see the sport of tournament walleye fishing fall.

Well, sorry to burst your bubble, but the weights were correct. And, your insinuation that the FLW would do anything like that is just plain crazy.

I agree, my buddy is fishing as a CO in this event and said some real hogs were brought to the scale. When there are mostly big fish people get distorted views.
Good luck to Pros Mark M. And Tom M. My buddy says you guys are class acts.

That has to be the dumbest thing I have ever seen posted on WC ever in my life! Have you ever fished detroit river or lake erie and know what kind of weights are even possible? Good thing your not registered your buddy's if you have any would be blowing up your phone ripping on your like no other. :stick:
Look at these weights from the weekend before from Ohio waters. http://www.liveleaderboard.com/LeaderBoard/event_redirect.aspx?t=554&s=Team&c=LEWT
3 40 lb bags and 4 over 35, total of 26 over 30!

Not owning this statement with your name makes you a coward. If you actually believe this, then you are also borderline delusional. Rigging the scales is completely unnecessary and would be hard to do.

Well, it looks like your reply has drawn enough responses. Here is one more.
Push your chair back, get away from your keyboard and just go fishing. It has been a long winter..
The weights posted yesterday are in line with what the Detroit River / Lake Erie fishery is capable of producing. Actually we were surprised that at least one 40#+ bag din't come in

Kevin,
I agree that statement about the scales being rigged was sheer stupidity.
Congrats on the first day lead Rich. The leaders have to be heartbroken after the severs cold front came through. Hopefully, Rich can put a pattern together to bring another good basket to the scales today.

Those weights are actually a little under what could be down there...we all know we've seen em bigger...and the fishing down there has been nothing short of spectacular this year...Too bad the front hit...but as you can see...cold front weights like that still get my attention...I thought the entire field did extremely well...congrats to the top ten...

Talked with Jon yesterday after I weighed in. He was jigging the 2 days. He has no way of trolling with his boat. Stricly a bass boat. All deck and no floor other than where the 2 seats are.
He guides on the river, so he does know what he's doing. Just funny seeing a true bass boat in a walleye tourney. LOL
