Don't know if you saw my response to your first post, but will answer this one anyway. I was a partner in a small seasonal resort for ten years. It was no money maker, but wasn't my primary income anyway. I did not like the attitude of many customers who demanded the world simply because they rented a cabin for a week. But, there were really great folks, too. Ours was one of the so-called Mom & Pop resorts that were so common from WW II thru the 60s. Very few now. It would take a bundle of capital to purchase an operation you could expect to return good $$. Before jumping in as owner, why not try to get employment for a year or so at a large resort.
Good luck.
