Gary and the Parsons family will live on with great memories of Don. Joan and I send our deepest sympathy to you all for such a big loss.

Don was quite a fisherman! In fact, Don and his old friend Bob Zimmerman played major roles in the early days of pioneering open water walleye trolling on Lake Winnebago and from there to walleye country everywhere--way back in the mid 80's. Don had many of us in awe at those early Winnebago MWC events when they were hauling in 5lb. to 7lb. walleyes, at the same time the rest were catching 15-16"ers on the rocks. And those were pre-Loran C days.

Thanks for the memories Don. A good guy and a great walleye hunter!

I too send my sympathies to the Parsons clan.

It was always fun to listen to the Don talk about the old days. It was no wonder where Gary got his start. I am sure he was equally proud of Chase.

My family will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

Gary & Family,

Our prayers are with you all at this time. Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is Liberty, that gentle ever-present Peace that passeth understanding.

If your father was anything like you, he was a real gentleman.

Love from down South,

Everyone,

Thank you so much for all the thoughts during this time for our family. Dad, Keith, myself and everyone else that knew grandpa are very appreciative... No doubt he will be missed very much by all of us, as he was always a fantastic guy to be around. I was lucky enough to hunt with him quite a bit in his last years until his health didn't allow him to do so and I will always cherish those memories. His stories sure could put a smile on anyone's face. Thanks again.

Chase

I'd like to thank all of you who have sent notes, messages, emails, and voicemails over the last day. Dad was quite the guy and leaves a permanent hole in my heart with his passing. As most of you know, our's is an outdoor family and he was our foundation. I've been overwhelmed by all of the nice comments about him and hopefully some day will be able to come close to filling his shoes! God bless you dad, they're all over 10 lbs where you are now...

Gary
