Need advice. Was at Bass Pro over the weekend and looked at their rods. Are they as good as they look? Are Gander Mountain rods better? Pls advise...thanks

Jay I also looked at both rods when i was searching for a mid-range 7'. I decided on the Gander Mountain Pro-Select model. My main reason for my choice was the handle I prefer the cork handle on the Gander rod over the Bass Pro rod. I also bought a Bass Pro Walleye Angler rod for bottom bouncing but this rod is to be used with a bait caster. Good Luck
