I just read an article by Perry Good and the Leech Tamer, which is made by JNB Originals. That article says it all, it can be seen on the Walleye Central Updates. I have personally used this bag for over a year now and it does a wonderful job of keeping your leeches healthy and lively. I purchased leeches in mid April and was on Mille Lacs yesterday and they are extremely lively and are "swimmers". The Leech Tamer does not tame them by any means, but keeps them in a fish catching mode.You can reach in the bag and grab a hand full and you will be amazed on how lively they are. Remember it will work good just keep the water cold. Even when you change water change with cold water. Otherwise the leeches will spawn and then you will lose the action. I Found this out by experience.

The leeches will stay fairly clean with the keeping them cold, but you will still have a glob of slime floating in your container, the leech tamer will keep the leeches clean, very lively, and they will not ball up--unlike the dormant state in cold water in a container.

Another great product from JNB! These leech bags are the real deal.... I too have had mine for over a year and have been very impressed with how good they help keep leeches alive and active. Kept leeches going strong last year from May to October and all I had to do was change the H2O!! Since the bags hold a pound or more of leeches, they're great for when we go to tournaments. If you use leeches you owe it to yourself (and your bait) to check these out.

I have been following the discussions of the Leech tamers for a couple weeks. I looked at them on the website and was going to order one. Well...last night I was at Fleet Farm and they were hanging on the rack with a "New Product" sign. The price was $6! A great deal, I bought 2. Can't wait to try them out!
