What is the best type of leader to use for running spoon's off of Dipsy's? What type of connection should be used, knot or swivel and snap?

In the past, i've used 12lb mono. this year i'm trying 15 or 20lb pure flourocarbon leader material. 6 or 7' leader, no longer then your rod. I made up a bunch with a plain snap on one end and snap/swivel on the other. if running spoons, hook the snap swivel to the spoon and the plain snap to the dipsy. if running cranks, reverse.

I used different mono leaders last year. If it wasn't for the Steelhead I would probably stick with 10 pound. But I settled for 20 pound Vanish. 4 to 7ft in length. Keep it short enough that you can handle the fish when you get them in. To long of a leader and you need an extra long handle on the net. Same as above post for attachment.
