I have read my manual from cover to cover and I don't think there is a way to calibrate the temp.

I think the only way to get an idea of how accurate the temp sendor is,is to compare with about acouple of units the same as yours.I have the x-70a which is pretty simalar, and that I know of there is no adjustment.

If you don't trust it, run to a pet store, and pick up a floating aquarium thermometer, you can use that to get a good idea of whether it's accurate or not. I tested like that with my old x 75, and it was within 2 degrees in 55 degree water.

I know its not right,, or there would be at least 3' of ice on the lake, and fish would be moving REALLY SLOW!!!. saying 18 thinking 50+

I would check to see if it is in celsius also you can change that. Good Luck.
Now Does your 350 give a good depth reading in shallow water like less than 6'. Mine is a piece in shallow water. Anyone have any Ideas???? Transducer is level with bottom of boat and works great in 10' plus spotty and slow to get reading in any less than 8'.
I have both 50khz and 192 khz transducers digital sonar is on and surface clutter is at low in moderate water. Sensitivity has been changed from low to very high when depth is flashing and it makes no diff.
No where in the book does it say why I would use a 50 khz transducer instead of the 192 khz does not read well or more likely I don't know how to set the unit up for it.
Any hints would be welcome.
