Hey gang. This morning and now, I have been having problems with WC. The pages are taking forever to load. All the other sites I go to work just fine. I was just wondering if anyone else is having trouble.
Same thing here, what's up???

It has to be the site. It was driving me nuts until I realized it was only this site. The kids are home on spring break and I thought it was my oldest sucking up band width from my cable modem while playing battle games on the internet. Now I got to go up and apologize. Geee
On one of the post, I could not even reply. The links were missing.

Really doubt it the traffic, it was this way at 5:30 AM, and it has been just fine.
I'm sure it will get worked out.

No better here. Been awful most of the day. Took me 20 minutes to get to this point. Guess this'll be it until tomorrow....

I noticed this around 9:30 PM last night (4/16)It is running pretty slow.

Slow here in Iowa. All other web sites I use are normal. Has been taking several minutes just to open the boats and motor page.

With our T-1...cable modem and the DSL at home, it does take forever to load. Gotta be a server problem. Scott, are you home?

It has seemed slower ever since the view counters were added, but the last 2 days have been the worst. tonight it is taking 1-3 minutes for pages to load for me. Patience is what we all lack, but rely on when fishing!!

Yes, this site has been slow since at least yesterday afternoon. It is even slow at 2:00 AM, so something is wrong. The pages are taking 5 min to load in some instances.

Whatever the problem, my patience can only stand for so much when it takes 2 min to load a page on a cable modem. I tell you that this site would not last 6 more months if this kept up.

Howdy PJ and all!
Yup it was slow for a spell. It started for me late yesterday as well.
We are looking into why it has been so. Typically we get a gee, we don't know from some we deal with. Or someone somewhere flips the wrong switch etc.
Most likely it has something to do with the aserver switch and routing the site through the network.
In a nutshell, once in a while ya gotta give the network (or those at the switch) a good swift kick!!!
Bear with us, we will get it resolved, if it hasn't cleared up already. I know it has been running smoothly for me here tonight.
Please, feel free to notify us when this happens so we get as good a jump on finding out what is up. Things will happen from time to time that even Scott cannot control. Yes Virginia, superman does have a rip in his cape.... :P

I noticed it was slow loading last evening and again early ths evening but it now appears to be loading normally.:)

It is still V E R Y S L O W this morning... even slower than it was yesterday afternoon.
One day with a minor tech glitch and there are those saying "the site won't last" - geez, take it easy.
In the recent past I have always had Walleyecentral as my opening home page. I have high speed access but it now takes soooo long to open that I had to switch to Yahoo. I hope they get this figured out soon. I love this site.

It has been fine here for days now. Reeeeeeeeffffffrrrrrrreeeeeeeeessssssshhhhhhh your browser. Hit refresh while holding down the shift key. Clear your browsers cache, go to the tool bar atop the screen, click on tools then internet options, then clear your history. Then click to delete the temporary internet files and check the box for offline content. Then reboot. I bet this might speed things up a bit for you.
