graph or transducer

hi all,
i have a bottomline graph, tournament series sf. the question is,I have a line down the middle of the screen, always there now. also it scrambles up and shows no depth often. now it won't even show anything..I did not try to clean the transducer yet. if it is shot. any suggestions on what brand and make to buy. i would like one which will follow the weedlines, and has temp and speed on it also.Is color beter or a waste for the extra money. i think this graph is fairly old, came with the used boat 85"
anything good out there around $300 or less.

You should email Bottomline directly. They will respond within a day or two. They most likely will offer you a repair or a hefty discount on a new one. If the repair will take a long time, they do "loan" one while yours is in repair, but your is old like mine was and will likely need to be replaced.
