I read somewhere (maybe this site) about a devise for tuning Reefrunners. Does anyone have any info of it? Maybe a picture, how it works, does it work, where do I get one, how much money and is it worth owning? Thanks in advance, Popeye
Yes they work and yes they are worth having. Available from Den,1 888 855 9032, or Scott @ 419 798 9125. It's around 3-1/2" long and 3/4" wide, flat with a hole for your halyard. 5 bucks or so.
Saw one this weekend at Den's, should have bought it but didn't. It looks like it works great and I was just too cheap to get one then, buying too many runners.

What's the difference between ReefRunner's tool and the Joe Butcher tool?

Price. The last time I bought one of Joe's tuners they were about
double the $5 price mentioned here
In addition to cost, the Reef Runner Tuner is flat so it won't roll off and hide, or go for a dip, and it has a hole in one end to go on you halyard. I don't think you'd need both. Good luck.
