ETT told me last night that Mark Brumbaugh"s second bite yesterday at Erie PWT was a 5# and a 7# fish on the same crank at the same time! I would like to know if that felt like a 12 pound fish or what?
Anyone interested in knowing what guru ETT looks like with a 13# Erie pig see Jim and friend on page 3 of glyde-ryde.com. Why am I here in Kansas Toto? John Estes

John,
That picture looks pretty familliar! The next fish boated on that trip was over 12#, so we had over 25# of walleye with two fish.

Steve, did you get upstaged on that day or not? Jim told me that I shouldnt be deceived by the appearance of your fish in the photos being bigger than his, that his was the bigger fish. Heck of a note to get your 12 get beat out. Sounds like you guys had a slow day with only two fish. John Estes
John,
Mark said the board went back hard, but didn't sink. The fish came in deep, and they thought they had a very large fish. Mark said "what the heck is that", when he first saw the 2 fish.
I hope today he get's that 12-1/2 pounds in a single fish.
We didn't only catch those 2 John. (let's see how do, I say this... I could say we caught a few more, or I could say we caught a couple more, or I could say we caught several)...don't you just love those vague terms fishermen use to disguise less than desired results.... We caught a total of 4 the other 2 were 4 & 6. But who's gonna complain.

John,
Well it was a slow day and I made a good net man for most of the weekend. I was being a good host. It's better to have your guest reel in the bigger one, expecially when the "smaller" one is over 12 pounds. We were in my boat so they all (all 4 that day) went in my logbook - as well as the 16 that went 128# from this past Sunday are in my logbook so I guess we both won. It's been a GREAT spring on Erie which is living up to it's reputation as the WALLEYE CAPITAL OF THE WORLD.
