April 23, 2001 I purchased by internet a SecureStart SS101 portable battery booster. I used it once when my grandson turned on the radio with no volume and left it on. It worked fine. This spring after getting my boat from storage, I recharged the SecureStart. It wouldn't hold a charge. It was made by Bolder Technologies in Golden Colorado. When their toll free number was continually busy, I found their company telephone number through the internet yellow pages. They (by voice mail)told me they were in Chapter 11 bankruptcy and couldn't do anything at that time. Also, if I wanted to talk to someone to call another number. I did and got the same voice mail. I found Cabela's customer service chat. I relayed my tale of woe and Tamara said please hold. When she came back she said send it back. My suggestion was to permit me to return it personally in Dundee Mi.
Jake accepted it with no hesitation. I'm only sorry they didn't have another not a SecureStart.
I just thought I'd post something good that happened to me because I don't usually end up on the good side.
And if any of you fine folks have any suggestions for a battery booster I'll accept them and thank you in advance.:)

I have had MANY MANY good relations like that with Cabela's. They ARE THE BEST, period. No other company in my opinion holds a reputation such as theirs. Your story is one of many like it, thats WHY I use Cabela's almost 100% for my fishing needs, and NO.... I have NO affiliation with them, other than being their customer for 15years.

No questions asked, Cabella's may be a little higher priced then most but you can't beat there return policy. I shop for everything there and will continue to do so. It helps that the Dundee store is only a half an hour from home, its raining today guess I'll go there today.

Yes I totally agree with the great customer service and return policy it is great. I walk in to the bargin cave in the Mitchell S D store and I can not belive some of the things people return.Such as boots for an example some of them are wore out but if you were not happy with them they will take them back. Anouther one is trolling motors some of these are old,old,old motors and people return them what a deal. Just my 2 cents worth. HAPPY HOOKEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
