I use a power sprayer on mine and it works great

I go to the car wash and use the rinse cyle, high pressure sprayer. Using the soap cycle only creates problems. High pressure sprayer works just fine. Pull the boat plug, raise tongue as high as it can go, start in the very front and drive the dirt toward the back until it is all in the back and around the floor drain...if there is one. I have added a screened floor drain on some baots just for this purpose.

I've done the same as suggested and then vacuumed it while still wet with a shop vac. This makes the nap stand up again and it looks almost like new.

I've even use the soap cycle, followed by a rinse. Don't hold the high pressure nozzle too close to the carpet, it can tear the backing. Absolutely don't let any of that spray wax get on the carpet, even what's left over from the previous car. There is nothing as slippery as waxed carpet in the rain. Yup, I did it--once.

My local carpet retailer has a carpet cleaning service. Steams out the worst nightcrawler scum you've ever seen. $40 bucks twice a year and looks brand new. Only have to take him fishing once. Lanny

The soaps have an oil base. This leaves a residue on the carpet that causes it to attract dirt, mat quicker and look dirty sooner. The dirt that clings to the fiber near the backing is what wears out a carpet. If you can get the crud off without using soap or detergent your carpet will last longer and look better. Pat K

I used dish washing soap and a srub brush. Hosed it out good first then washed it. Rinsed it out good with hose. After it dried I vacumed it with a rotating brush vacum and it looks like new.

Priom: For small jobs, get a spray bottle of "Johnson's Resolve" at the grocery store. In the household cleaners department by the rug cleaners. Gets out the tuff stains without much hassel. Good LUCK SCRUBBING STAINS.....Kaz
