I've been hearing good things about their nets and was interested. Does anybody have any information on where you can pick these up? Do they have a catalogue or website? Thanks for help!

I use the pro musky for my musky fishing and like it alot alittle heavy to use by yourself and fighting a fish(musky) and am looking into a smaller version for walleye and others. I'd rank them #1 right now.

Hi
Yes, they are great with having the rubberized nets to prevent hooks from getting caught. Even used the one that is not telescopic as a push pole when running a tunnel hull in shallow water....ok, got that idea from my boyfriend who turned me on to those nets! They really do work great ....never will forget the northerns I caught on the Mississippi last fall.....mid 30s to mid 40s and alone and having them flop in the net with rapalas and never getting them caught in the net....
They are sold at Gander Mountains, some bait shops, and at Scheel's (spelling?) and other places...if none of these are near you, I can get some contact info for you. Email me and I can give you his contact info if you are unable to locate their nets near you.
Good luck,
~Jenn

If you are around Gladstone, I got mine at Bayshore Resort. They have a link on the links page of Walleye Central.

I use the "Pro-Walleye" extending handle, and love the net. I was skeptical of the quality and need for such an expensive net ($74.95), but find that it is the best thing in nets. You can look at them and buy them at...#####://www.beckmannet.com/

Hope this helps,

I have and have used one for many years, the best nets I have ever seen or used. I got mine several years ago through Dakotamart. I do believe they still carry them. You can reach them at 1 800 382 2553

You are getting the best there is. My 17 year old son said," Man nice net",. Heck even my wife say the obvious quality and asked, "what did this beauty cost"? We have an old one on the charter boat that we just this year replaced the bag on. Around 12 years old and still going strong. It has netted literally thousands of walleyes. You will wear out and through away many lesser quality nets, while the Beckman just keeps doin it's job. Best for tournament style boats or the serious angler is the "walleye pro" with the shorter extendable handle. Good luck.

How in the heck do you hang onto a landing net for 12 years?
Seriously, I have wanted a Beckman for the last year or so, but personal history tells me that I'll either lay it on top of my pickup & it will end up in a ditch; or someone will like it even better than I do and lift it when I'm not looking. If I can keep a landing net for more than a couple years, I'm very fortunate.
So, for now, I'll stick w/the $30-$40 extending handle net that I picked up at Scheels (can't remember the brand). Hooks don't stick in the net, but they drop through the net and get pretty tangled when fish "rock & roll" in it.

Maybe you need to move to Ohio. We don't have to chain things down to keep them from growing legs. (I hope you haven't jinxed me.)

Another great reason to move to Buckeye-land and be closer the the mother of all walleye factories!
