I recently mpved to Wyoming and live in Cheyenne. I did a lot of hunting in Montana and enjoyed the deer hunting there and was lucky enough to harvest a few 24 inch mulies and 135 class whitetails.
I'm looking for an area that I could deer hunt for good bucks (mulie or whitetail) without paying an outfitter in Wyoming. I've talked to several people for any suggested hunting areas but all admit that they have no idea where I should go to harvest a mature buck.
I talked to Game and Fish and didn't get much information except you gotta hike around.
Can anyone point me in the right area?
